By the grace of Gods

Grace was a beautiful princess; she was strong, smart, and her hair was as soft as a cloud, yet as fine as silk. She could lead with an iron fist, but also show compassion towards all the realms. Her beauty could bring life to the hearts that would be considered stone, and all she had to do was walk by or say hello. Her feet blessed the Earth she walked on, women wished they could be her, and men wanted to marry her at first glance. 

But Grace had a secret. A secret that not even her own lover, Dax, knew of. Grace was a demi God, daughter of Hades and Persephone. She very much looked like her mother, but she had her father's temper. Her hair was jet black and her skin was like polished Ivory. Like her mother, her father kept her prisoner during half the year. While her mother brought warmth and life to the Earth, Grace brought cold and darkness. Most would think this would be depressing, but its who she was, and she embraced her place in life. However, her father forced a job upon her, that no one would ever want. While she is on Earth she has a quota her father has set, in which she will be his personal soul collector. 

Over the years her place as soul collector has deemed her many names. The reaper, angel of death, etc. Often she has been depicted as a tall fearful being, often considered to be guiding souls into the promise land. But that wasn't the case, she wished her job was as beautiful as the legends made it out to be. But the reality of her job was to feed Hades's lust for power. She condemned souls, forever in pain and torment under Hades control. Most would be confused how she was ever seen by humans, but a select few have what she calls "the sight". Like her lover, he can see her even when she's used magic to veil herself from mortal eyes. It is unknown why these humans have this power or where it comes from, but the very few who have it, have used it to write stories, and even man made prophesies surrounding her existence and duties as Princess of the underworld.
