My interview with SavageFrog

"Lets start by introducing yourself, in a few words tell us about yourself."

- Hai~I'm Froggy & I ramble a lot (hence I'm giving you all an edited version). XD

"What made you originally join DeviantArt?"

- I first came across DA back in 2004 but I didn't get the courage to make an account until 2011 & came seeking something that many others before me had: a way to just share the stuff I liked & talk to other artists while trying to improve my own material.

"How long have you been a senior member?"

- I got Seniority after I had celebrated 1st year on DA so...it's been close to 2 years now (my account turns 3 in December )

"A lot of deviants make it seem having seniority is a big deal, what are your thoughts on this subject?"

- Honestly, it shouldn't be a big deal like some people make it out to be; people should concentrate more on helping others or just having fun instead of fixating on obtaining titles.

"What would you say your art style is?"

- It's pretty much traditional art/manga & anime.

"Do you practice with other mediums?"

- Yush~I do crafts (jewelry, sculpting, paper-cutting & cooking) & I sometimes try photography. Also trying to figure out CSS right now...coding is very confusing. XD

"When you aren't on DeviantArt, what are typically doing?"

- Studying, taking care of family, doing community service events & doing chores are the typical things or anything else that randomly pops up through out the day.

"Do you have any close friends or family on DeviantArt?"

- Many many friends but I spend most of my time on DA with

"How do you feel about contests and giveaways? are there any specific ones you enjoy or does it not really matter?"

- I enjoy them from time to time though I steer clear of the ones with an insane amount of rules (or insane rules in general). XD Aside from that, I'd only enter if I find the subject interesting (the topic's cool/based on something I like or the prizes make me excited).

"In the last two years of being a member on DeviantArt how do you feel?
Do you think you have come a long way since then or has DeviantArt not really
affected your life?"

- It's been a real roller-coaster of emotions but I don't think I'd trade it for anything since I've met a lot of awesome people during my time here; still got a long way to go in terms of my artwork but I'm very happy that I've found good friends in the process.

"What are some of your favorite hobbies?"

- My hobbies are cooking, drawing, swimming, writing & doing yoga (I wanna try martial arts soon! Maybe Kickboxing, Karate or Capoeira).

"Do you have a quote you like or live by?"

"Thank you for your time SavageFrog! In closing, do you have anything else you would like to add?"

- Be patient with yourself & concentrate on what you truly want in life but be aware that it can even take an entire lifetime to reach your goals. Only bring this up since I've seen a lot of people who automatically want to be successful (on DA, in Art, etc.) with little effort but when they don't get too much buzz, they just give up when it should instead push them to work harder. I wanna see more people succeed rather than give up half-way.
