Colors Of The Spirit by SirCassie Colors Of The Spirit by SirCassie
"Nature always wears the colors of the spirit." Ralph Waldo Emerson

A prize commission i did for :iconsobohrami: this piece was very fun to draw and a new experience as well. i am very happy with the results. At first i was going to have a lot of things going on in the piece like birds and trees but i thought it was to much and stayed with a more simplicity kind of look.

Made with sketchbook pro 6.

The background really stands out to me. I think going for a more simplistic look really worked.

I think the cheekbones are too big an the anatomy altogether looks a bit weird. The hair is great, it is so detailed and i like the colours :)

Thank you for the feedback! :)
Yeah, i was experimenting with a different approach to cartoonish women seeing how it would come out, but thank you for pointing those out, lets me know i should play around with it more next time i draw in this style:)
